  • Data Privacy Violations: Misuse or mishandling of user data, including unauthorized sharing or selling of personal information, is a serious violation of our terms and Privacy Policy.

3. Consequences of Code of Conduct Violations

  • Warning Notice:
For minor infractions, Parler will issue a written warning to the user or vendor, outlining the behavior in violation and reminding them of the Code of Conduct. The user will be given an opportunity to correct their actions and comply with the platform’s policies.
  • Temporary Suspension:
Repeated violations or more severe misconduct may result in a temporary suspension of the user’s or vendor’s account. During the suspension, the user or vendor will be unable to access their account, post new content, or engage in transactions. Parler will provide notice of the suspension, including the duration and the specific reasons for the action taken.
  • Permanent Account Termination:
In cases of severe breaches, such as harassment, fraud, illegal activities, or data privacy violations, Parler reserves the right to permanently terminate the user’s account. This decision will be made at Parler’s sole discretion and is not subject to appeal. Termination of the account may include the forfeiture of any associated digital rewards and the loss of access to platform services.
  • Legal Action:
If a user’s or a vendor’s conduct violates applicable laws, such as engaging in illegal activities or infringing on data privacy regulations, Parler may report the violation to the relevant authorities and pursue legal action. The user or vendor may be held liable for any damages or legal costs incurred as a result of their misconduct.
  • Vendor and Customer Accountability:
Vendors who violate the Code of Conduct may face additional consequences, including the removal of product listings, withholding of payments, or termination of their vendor agreement. Customers engaging in abusive or fraudulent behavior may be restricted from making future purchases or interacting with vendors on the platform.

4. Appeals Process

Users and vendors may appeal any disciplinary action taken against their account by contacting Parler Customer Support at [email protected]. Appeals must be submitted within 7 business days of receiving notice of the violation. Parler will review all appeals on a case-by-case basis, and its decision will be final.
